Am I nuts?
locked picture and prepping files for color correction in Color.
Trying to follow the RED Whitepaper for online.
(paper dated November 11, 2008 from www.red.com/support)
Claims FCP will injest R3D footage as a media manage (after you create an off-line seq of your locked project).*
The Paper suggests that when I right-click the new offline sequence in Browser, select "Batch Capture" from the shortcut menu, the Log & Transfer window will appear, allowing me to reinjest RED footage needed for my sequence.
This process apparently works easily for my color correctionist. So clearly I'm missing something??
any ideas?

*I am doing "Workflow 2: Work offline Using ProRes; Finish Using RED Quicktime Media" - (my offline was ProRes (hq)).
Based on this workflow, I get all way through step 5.3 of Workflow 2 -- creating offline project and setting Log & Transfer settings.
then, as mentioned above, it's a dead-end with the last step of injesting via a batch capture.
