I just completed a shoot and my R3D metadata is displaying at a different framerate than I shot in. Has anyone else had this issue? I would appreciate some immediate help from RED sorting this out.

Specifically, I'm using the last official (non-Beta) release of the Scarlet firmware on the camera. I shot primarily in 4k @ 29.97 and 1k @ 120fps but all my clips are being read as 23.976 in both RedCine-X and Premiere CS6. I've tested on different workstations with the same result and from different back-up drives of the media.

Any help much appreciated.

Perhaps you shot at those frame rates but the project frame rate/time base in camera was set to 23.976. So RCX and CS6 are being told everything is 23.976. maybe? I would check the project settings in the camera to see where they are set at. Settings > project > time base.

Yeah, common mistake, run into it here and there.

So yeah, here's yet another repeat request to RED. Can we have the ability to alter the project time base on clips when we trim or re-save them out of RCX??? Please? It would help a lot. Simply changing the frame rate during editing on clips is not always the most practical thing and some software still really struggles with that whole concept.
