  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Firstly, sorry if this is in the wrong thread,if it is feel free to move it as I'm sure u will :)

so...as I remember it Redrelay was the place to go to get the files to practice using red alert etc. Like for those of us thinking of getting the camera but aren't sure of handling the footage...

Now that it's down (I just checked and it's setting up for relaunch) where does everyone go for these files?is there a site for those of us to download these from?anything?
I've never managed to download the .R3D files and was never quite sure what to do with the .tiff so I just left it,now I'm thinking of moving forward and getting ready for using this camera I'm trying to get a hold of these files and find what to do with them...

I'm pretty damn new to this,I have an FX-1 so these files I would never have come across and colour grading is something that I can only do on a minimal level with it before noise presents and in the export artifacts...so apologises if I appear ignorant as to what to do with the files xD

Thanks for any help xD

Looking for the same. I'd like to test 2K | 4K footage with the new R3D functionality built in to the Fusion 6 compositing system. Thanks...

Warmest,
Stivan
