R3D clips showing black after import in FCPX

Hi,

I've imported my Weapon footage as usual in FCPX using the "generate proxy" and some clips are showing black. It's like they are imported in the project, folder is there in "Original Media", but there's no image, only sound.

I have to use the takes I can see and it's a big drag

Anyone knows how to fix this?

I know RED recently updated the FCP/Apple workflow installer..maybe make sure yours is up to date?

Hey Lewis, Im currently having the same issue. I downloaded the link for the workflow but i get the same thing, just audio with black video. Macbook 11.7.10

What does 11.7.10 refer too? If it's Mac OS definitely update to something later.

Are you using the latest RED Apple Workflow plugin v22?

The plug in has generally been stable since 2021 though I do occasionally notice the black frames if Final Cut Pro sits inactive for a while with R3Ds (maybe the drive goes to sleep- don't know).
