Hi,

Does Plural Eyes software work with R3D files ? I am trying to sync however no luck - tried even importing xml files from Adobe Premiere and still no luck. Will Plural Eyes work with Red files ? Thank you

I don't think it can. It may be better for you to export proxy files from the r3ds with redcinex pro. Then use the proxy files with the audio for synching. I have used plural eyes for years, however with the ability to synch inside premiere I have not used plural eyes since. Only drawback is that you have to sync one clip at a time. Hope this helps!

You can sync R3Ds easily in Resolve. We've been doing it for years. Sync via timecode is flawless. Sync via waveform also works very well.

If you are editing in Premiere, you can spit out sound-synced dailies in Resolve.

It's been a while since we synced our feature film clips but I believe the R3D clips worked fine since 99% of our film was on our RED One MX. We may have gone from Premiere to Plural Eyes as well, there's a few ways of doing it as I'm sure you know.
