.. My home... Your Home... Our Home!!
And I behave in here as such!! Here I respectfully talk to fellow REDUSER and after all this years, fill as if I was talking to a family member, I post anything and always have good sets of hears ready to listen.
I post to ask for help... And help always comes... I post to share my tough, and my experiences in the hope to teach some one new something that could serve them well.
Sharing my good and bad adventures of life in this 7 years running has helped me tremendously to deal with it, this has been a community like no other I have encountered, and it is by no surprise that I now EXCLUSIVELY belong to REDUSER.
Some times conversations get hit it up, but there is always a solution to a misunderstanding and an apology to be given and or received to restore things as they were, we are as a big global family of passionate Filmmakers, and no matter were life takes me, I'll never stop sharing with you here.
REDUSER, has become a force to be reckon with, we trust each other and we listen to what we have to say, and follow suggestions in what to buy and why to buy it, and for this any time we do a Group Buy, manufacturers realize the purchase strength of this community, we are not just talkers, we buy and use our gear, and produce amazing images, and share our work and experience, we have been gathering an incredible library of knowledge in here, with Q&A threads of any kind to do with the Industry, we have both the CEO and the President of the company chat here with us, this is UNIQUE!
This is great and we should be very careful to try our best to maintain it so, and not allow any disrespectful behavior to one an other, we use our real name (most of us) and we do so for a reason, many of us here know each other in person too, and we must talk always with respect in here, because you never know when we'll come across each other in one of the NAB's or RED special events at RED STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD or any were also around the world, and it would be kind of funny to have to avoid one an other just because we know what we said to one an other in here.
This community is a community of professionals that share with others, every day I see incredible examples of how people share their time, their knowledge, they are always ready to help others with answering their questions, give out a hand were needed, even loan out gear, or help solve a problem on set or what ever. We help each other find the right piece of gear for the job, explain one an other what tool does what and which might be better then the other, it might be a given to us, but not to some one that has never used, we all were in that position at one time, and we continue to be i that position every time our selves get a new tool.
In this community I have always tried to be polite and respectful, I know many, very many of you in person, and remains always one of the greatest pleasure when thru my world travels I meet other fellow REDUSER. I have been in the homes of many of you, in your countries, and it is amazing, how some one can just open their door to a perfect stranger, just by knowing him form this site, it is truly refreshing in this age and state in which we find ourselves, and I hope that this never changes and that we do truly continue to respect each other's trust, and make so that this absolutely FANTASTIC community continues to grow!!
The ups and downs in my life, have many times been shared here, and always found great support, which has helped me tremendously to continue on, and hope that some also served as an inspiration to others, in life never say it is over, there is always an other chance, an other opportunity, one must always PERSEVERE and for this I have done all the little that I could to give back to this community, in any way I could, and I will continue to do so, in any way I can, and with me been back in LA, I'll be sure to step it up a notch or two, especially with the new series of Gear reviews, and Free Inspirational Filmmaking Workshops.
My hope is that REDUSER will continue to grow in to a Global Family type of Filmmaker's community were we always be ready to share our experiences, help each other find the right answer with anything that we can to help each other become better at what we do, and no matter were we are or go in the world, always find some one there willing to answer our call, some one to say hello, and welcome to their Country OUR home!! This is one of our greatest strengths!!
What I am trying to say is, I LOVE REDUSER as a community, not just because I LOVE RED and what has brought to us and continues to bring to us as TOOLS OF OUR TRADE, but because of what has become of it. Any ways, I wanted to share this tough as I prepare to come back to LA, as it represents a very important chapter of my life, and this community is, and will be a BIG part of it, and what I will be sharing with this community both here and outside of it with many of it's members, my fellow REDUSER, will be something very special, and I hope that in my little, what ever I have done and plan do for this community is and always will be well received, and might serve well to some one by teaching them something useful, and or Inspire.

Loosing the voice of Jim, our Founder, is a really GREAT DEAL to me, and many other of us been here since the very beginning, in fact before the beginning when we all were at DVXuser...
