Quicktime Varispeed Question

So I think I must have missed the memo on this one...when one records Varispeed R3D and 4K Quicktime to the REDMAG only the r3D plays in slowmotion while the Quicktime in regular speed...

I've pretty much scanned the forum but can't seem to find the answer to this...am I missing something? Maybe if I record in 2k Quicktime I get the slowmotion?

I just recorded a different scene in 2K Quicktime Varispeed and it plays buttery smooth...so I am guessing 4K Quicktime Varispeed is a no no?

I believe you're limited to 30 FPS in 4K ProRes on any of the DSMC2 cameras..
