Hi all,
Quick little question - maybe me just being silly...(edit : I modified the title of this post as I realised referring to these as Quicktime Reference Movies may cause confusion...)
If I take a 16-bit TIFF sequence transcoded from say some R3D data and opened it in quicktime - then saved it as a quicktime reference movie - not a self contained quicktime - is the bit-depth 'cut' to 8-bit?
I seem to remember this being an issue for ages with 'wrapped quicktimes' - the giveaway being when you open up the reference movie created in quicktime in Shake it detects it as 8-bit....
I'm going to go and have a little play in Shake this afternoon - just wondered if anyone else may already know. (edit : I did'nt have time this afternoon!..maybe tmw!)
Many thanks in advance.
