Hi !

So we exported according to the EDL from FCP5.1, 2k TIFF frames from the Red footage for onlining. After that we made from this Tiff sequences Quicktime Proxies (opened Tiff Sequ. in Quicktime and then save as reference). There happened something special. At all slomotion sequences (Redcam 75 F/s 2k) the QT proxies were not able to play correctly. There are framejumps in. The "normal speed" shots with 25 F/s are ok. So we opened the Tiffs in apples preview and all Tiffs are ok in motion. So the proxie was corrupted. Imported this proxies in FCP 5.1, final cut shows the proxies as still.
Very interesting phenomenon. So we imported the tiffs itself to fcp by folders putted them on the timeline and rendered them from timeline as a proxie, reimported the proxies and they work.

very strange....

Do you have a private place to post an r3d with accompanying quicktime files? It would be great if I can look at it. Shoot me a PM with the details please.

Thanks!
