  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

QuickTime 7.6?

I did install Quicktime 7.6 a few days ago.
After that, when I opened a set of clips shot with build 15 in Clipfinder, load times were extremely slow. Rebuilding the Quicktime reference files (in REDRushes) solved the problem.
Clips shot with build 16 and 17 do not seem to be affected.
I have had a similar experience after installing a new version of REDs Quicktime codec.

Cheers,
Hans

Hans I have had that challenge with legacy quicktimes (build 15 and lower took a while to open, but seemed to eventually) and I had the same success with rebuilding them. That is a great testament to clipfinder as I can rebuild them all in one click ;)

Thanks for the great application

QT 7.6 and OSX 10.5.6 installed and running well on a Macbook Pro here. I haven't done any editing via the QT proxy files since the upgrade, but reviewing all my footage via QT proxies works just fine.
