I just upgraded from Quickbooks mac 2006 to mac 2011.

Has anyone figured out how to customize Estimates and Invoice columns to be equipment rental house friendly? Basically I need to add more columns and then modify the formulas to tally correctly. Columns roughly as follows.

ITEM | DESCRIPTION | ITEM QTY | ITEM RATE | RENTAL DAYS | SUBTOTAL | DISCOUNT | ITEM TOTAL.

I know how to edit the form and add columns, I can't figure out how to change the column formulas. Has anyone figured this out? I've done a bit of googling without success. There are some plugs for QB which are for the building trades industry, but nothing specifically for the equipment rental biz.

Once I get that worked out.. next I want to easily print packing slips, which is just ITEM | DESCRIPTION | ITEM QTY | RENTAL DAYS.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
