A while back, we were told not to upgrade to QT 7.5 and to use 7.4 only.
Maybe I missed a thread, but is this still true?

I started a thread saying wait and see - then I tried reinstalling the new 3.0 red codec on the support page- everything resolved-

Leopard on a quad 2.6 / nvidia -
