QUICK QUESTION ABOUT S35 LENSES

Hi there all. . .

I'm very glad to see REDUser back in operation again. . . and just in time for me.

I have an opportunity to buy three mint Leitz Summicron-C lenses for $10K. I'm tempted, but my question is this: I'm currently shooting on Komodo/Komodo-X, but wonder if buying S35 lenses today makes any sense given the obvious Full Frame tidal wave.

Important note: Given my (advanced) age, I figure I have only about 5 more years of production in me.

Thoughts?

That’s a bit of a steal.
Just one of those lenses go for more than that.

Consider that one of the most popular cinema cameras right now is Arri 35.

I think for a variety of reasons Super 35 is still a popular format and likely to be around for as long as cinema is a viable art form.
