Questions regarding Pelican Case that come with the packages.

So I got the Raven with I/O V-mount package, and I'm pretty certain it will come with a pelican case.

So I'm wondering whether:
1) They will precut the foam as per the package.
2) Send it uncut and we have to cut the holes.
3) We can request a certain configuration and they will cut it.

Of course, with number 3 we can ask to send it uncut (number 2).

To be honest, I'd prefer Number 3, because it's less messy and more professional looking compared to number 2. At the same time if we can request a specific configuration, it's less trouble compared to Number 1, as we all have a specific configuration for most shoots. We won't waste time assembling and disassembling during each shoot.

Obviously, I can't complain if it's either 1 or 2, because there are so many orders that they need to fulfill and they can't customize every single case...

So anyone that got a package deal... DSMC 2 bodies (Weapon, Scarlet-W or Raven) with a pelican case... Can answer the above. Thanks in advance.

My Raven hasn't arrived yet, but I know the cases the packages come with are all pre-cut. They have slots for the 4.7" monitor, universal handle, outrigger and the power lead. Plus a few little other cut outs for various little items such as the tool to attach the accessories with.

i wonder myself what will happen with all the extra room the raven pkg will have, since there are no extra mounts or olpf cut outs.
i hope to squeeze some lenses in there. ill probably have mine all re-cut at innerspace to make it more functional for an all in one case.
id rather have the camera 99 percent built in there.

Right? I want to save time, especially on tight shoot schedules. We are already setting up lights, figuring out angles, making changes to Resolution, frame rates, compression ratio, ISO, aperture, shutter speed, white balance and other non-constant variables... Might as well have something like a top handle prefixed in the case.

I also ordered a sidekick controller, hopefully that should fit???

Not a Pelican case. These are manufactured by Nanuk.

As others have pointed out, comes pre-cut.
If you want your own custom job, there are places out there willing to do the work for you.
