Hello,

I would like to know if it's possible to use the Hyper Deck Shuttle 2 with the RED Scarlet. If it does, does it record automatically when the record button is pressed on the Scarlet? or does it also have to be pressed on the Hyper Deck Shuttle?

The other question is,
Is there any possible way to attach the Hyper Deck Shuttle and a V-Mount without rods?(Using any kind of back plate)

Thanks In Advance!

Well I don't have one yet, but by the book it should work as it takes in 1080p, via its mini SDI or HDMI ports. Since its latest firmware build it does do start/stop, i am guessing receiving the signal over both hdsdi and hdmi, but not totally sure. You can buy a separate cheese plate for the shuttle for $99 and potentially hooking it to a noga arm for example, avoiding rods. Don't think you could combine it with a V-mount plate as well, but maybe...

for vmount look at wooden camera
hyperdeck shuttle doesn't take time code so you wont be able to sync offline online edits
