Question for Caldigit owners

Hi. My reseller is telling me the Caldigit HDpro does have the throughput capacity to play back the reference files of material shot in either 3K or 2K.

Is this true?

We've cut a film shot 4K using the "H" proxies just fine on the HD Pro. Those guys are great to work with and very responsive.

Thanks Paul...I thought that was the case but I wanted to hear it from someone who is actually using the HDPro with RED material.

I have worked with full raster 2K material on my HDOne.

mike: I understand the throughput speed of the HDOne is the same as the HDPro for almost half the price. The differences seem to be simply that the HDPro is a bit more flexible and upgradable plus you can apparently upgrade the processor.

Would you recommend the HDOne?
