I am working on a dream sequence and in a perfect world would love to achieve the look used in last years "Project Imagination - when you find me" video.

From what I have been able to find online, it's something similar to infrared photography.

So my two quick questions. Is this anything that can be achieved in post with Resolve? Do I NEED to do it with filters in-camera? I haven't been able to find any other threads on this so I thought I would ask...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all!

Peter

Do you mean something like this: https://vimeo.com/66698520

It looks to me that the shot you attached is done with an IR filters and post production to push and re-map the blues.

From what I've seen post production workflows that try to imitiate this look (without IR filtration) seem to fall short of the real thing.
