What is double posting? What if you want to start a discussion in multiple areas on the same topic?

posting the same topic in 2 forums is generally considered poor etiquette. Find the forum that best describes the content of your post, and post there.

Cross-posting is annoying because you don't know which of the same post to respond to. A lot of us come to the site and pull up the New Posts list, we don't go through each subforum individually looking for new posts. So from our point of view, we just see the same post repeated multiple times.

Also, cross-posting is generally considered taboo, b/c it makes things less organized, and makes it more difficult for folks to find an answer in the future to what might be the same question if the answers are scattered across multiple threads. Particularly in a forum that moves as quickly as this one

who makes up the Sub-Forums?

I mean, under Red-Workflow there is a few nice sub-forums. But it would be nice to have a few more, like:
Nucoda, Luster, BaseLight, Resolve etc etc

Is that possible to do?
I know a RedCine Sub-Forum is more important to have rather then one of the above.
Since RedCine is a free app and has a lot more users then any of the above.
But such a Sub-Forum it could be talk about how do deliver to a Luster, or what can a Resolve output back from Red etc etc
