Question about OKC6-75-1 to Lomo experts

I bought a Russian Lomo OKC6-75-1 a while back, used it for the first time today and discovered something puzzling.

The T stop markings go from 2.2 to 16 -- but there appears to be an internal stopper/limiter in the lens somewhere which prohibits the aperture from closing down further than ~T7. I can clearly feel the mechanism hit a metallic limiter when trying to close the aperture.

Is this normal? Is there a way to release this limiter?

That sounds like an issue with the lens. Don't force it and send it in to be serviced. Try Bernie at Super-16. Sounds like a machine screw may have backed out and is running into one of the moving parts.
