Hey guys,
I was wondering if you could help me out. I'm now a half owner on a scarlet and we're looking to expand some of our gear options at the moment.
We'd love to have a way to do a proxy 1080p pro res recording for clients who don't want to deal with RAW. Does anyone have experience using a hyperdeck shuttle with the scarlet for 1080p? I tried searching but the results were inconclusive. I'd love to know if the hyperdeck shuttle 2 works as it's crazy cheap and would be a great addition. If it doesn't work, what other recorders would you guys suggest as an economical way to get 1080 proxies?
Also, we were looking to get a cheaper steadicam for those days where hiring out a steadicam isn't possible due to the budget. Does anyone know if the steadicam pilot or if a glidecam HD4000 + x-10 arm could hold a scarlet, a 24mm prime, 5" pro lcd, and redvolt in the handle?
Thanks in advance for the help!
