Will the planned H.264 proxy module have the function of being able to upload H.264 dailies via wifi?

Will it have similar functionality to the Teradek cube? Or is it strictly a recording device that requires plug n play to access the H.264 files?

I can see purchasing a Cube if you want or need this right now or if you're running multiple camera platforms, but is this something RED plans to enable for EPIC eventually?

Based on how things seem to be rolling out, I think we're gonna be waiting a while for this module or most modules.
The Cube is the closest we're gonna get to that module and it works with anything HDMI or SDI. Def not shilling for them it just seems like a buy now for what you need not later for what you might.

just my 2 cents.

I'm not opposed to the Cube - in fact, quite the opposite, and I'm giving some consideration to participating in the group buy. I've just had a few experiences with rushing in to buying RED products and third-party releases only to find that I could have saved a few bucks with a little patience.

I still do this with a degree of frequency...on this one, I am just wondering if it will end up duplicating the same functionality. Hoping to hear whether the module will deliver proxies via wifi...
