On the 25th April 2014 Lisbon celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution which swept away a four-decade dictatorship and brought to Portuguese the right to vote, universal health care, old-age pensions, public education and labor rights.


This short dream sequence shot during Easter weekend in and around Lisbon's neighbouring coast prior to the celebrations, is a tribute to the spirit of the Queen of the Sea (Lisbon) and its people. Hope you enjoy it:wink5:

That was excellent Alexandre.

I've only watched it once, but that was some of the best RED footage I've ever seen. The subject-matter was moving as well, after thinking about what was being celebrated.

Always interesting to shoot in a short time without a particular subject in mind and then putting it together whilst editing.
I was a photographer for several years and believe that we are surrounded with interesting situations permanently happening around us...
