One idea: Why not slightly downsample your 4K footage to 3840 x XXXX and work on this screen pixel for pixel? Might be interesting!

Its more importent to be on a monitor with good and accurate color for CC. Pixels are neat, but if they're the wrong stupid color they do you no good.
