  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

By us offering a modular system, you can tailor your configurations to your specific shooting needs. One configuration to note is using REDVolt XL + Pro Battery Module + Side SSD Module. In this setup, a REDMAG cannot be fully ejected from the Side SSD Module with a REDVolt XL is the left side bay of the Pro Battery Module. Like Jarred said, XL really means XL. So, to eject the REDMAG, you would have to remove the REDVolt XL in that bay.

Obviously, this is just one configuration of many but we wanted to point it out up front. Some other recommendations are using normal REDVolts in the left side bay with REDVolt XL in the right side bay of the Pro Battery Module if you are using Side SSD Module. Or all regular REDVolts in the Pro Battery Module (like we provided in the Stage 2/3 packages…). Or, when available, using the Rear SSD Module with Pro Battery Module and XLs. Not to mention using the Side Handle to power with either SSD module. Or RED BRICKs. Or… You get the picture - lots of options :)

I see all in stock? You probably caught it right as inventory was syncing with RED.com. We certainly have units of all three ready to ship.

Can we mix and match and put 2 Redvolts on one side of the battery module and one XL on the other side at the same time?

To clarify, I was speaking of the bays on the Pro Battery Module. I will edit my post.

What about the international cables/plugs for the charger. Would we Europeans need to get one, or is it included?
 
No, comes only with the US version, but since it is removable, you can get whatever cable works for your country...
