I've moved the Offhollywood Buzz blog over to SquareSpace and posted info on QTAKE HD Advanced Video Assist application as well as the new artemis EFP HD SE Special Edition - two very cool things you can see at NAB - I'm off to vacation for a week - then back with a posting vengeance - the blog is going to evolve a lot in the very near future -

Artemis.... Nice piece of gear...

This is an awesome looking software. Found out about it by looking at pictures from a digital fx shoot and wondering what that cool software was. I've emailed you requesting a demo.

Mark I am very excited about QTAKE HD . I have been complaining for years about inferior video assist. It is hilarious that the guy who invented this software is a director. Do you have this software available for purchase? If so can I demo it on Monday and buy it?

The software is amazing. Very simple and smart design, with a touch screen it is very fast and responsive. We used it on a vfx shoot w/ a motion control rig, and it made the job a breeze with its realtime compositing tools and shot data.

Yup this is the picture I tweeted to you about. More press gotta be drummed up about this tool. I'm also amazed that it was programmed by a director. Took me a while to figure out what it was though... lol. Now I think of it has "Aperture" for video... because of the metatagging features. I wish there was a video on the site that explains the features more. I'm curious to learn as much as possible about it.
