  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

QT codec 3.5 and RT playback...

Ever since I upgraded to the FCP installer and Red QT codec 3.5 I've lost my realtime playback ability when playing HD-SDI out of a Blackmagic Multibridge Extreme. I can get RT when the external video is off or on if I revert to QT 3.1 but then the footage doesn't render properly. I'd love to hear any suggestions. I've heard it might be because the BM Multibridge requires some processor power to scale the 2K to 1080 but then why does it work fine with the 3.1 QT codec. Does anyone have these issues. BTW it happens on both imported QT wrapped R3ds and _h proxies.

Help?

ATI 3870 HD 512mb Video card
