Purple pixels inside of an rectangular shape at right side

Anybody had this problem? Going to contact red support now.
Can add that I have not done an black calibration in a couple of weeks. Maby it fixes this. Will try that on monday.

There have been similar posts complaining of green bars, 1/3 of frame going to green noise etc. I want to say that a firmware re-install was required which would then be followed by a black calibration.

Camera came with firmware v2.0.5 i think and everything was working fine.
I had no problems at all doing black calibration.

Then when the new v.3.0.0 was released I installed that. Everthing working fine.
Then all the sudden I see that this at problem accrued with the purple pixels.

So I tried this

upgraded to 3.0.6 and but still had the problem. (Did not do any black calibration)
Rolled back to v2.0.5 still same problem. (Did not do any black calibration).

Reinstalled v.3.0.0 and did serval black calibrations in both current framerate and factory.. Then I got calibration failed on all!

Rolled back to v2.0.5 still same problem. Did factory black calibrations and the all faied.

installed v.3.0.0 and upgraded to 3.0.6. Did a black calibration. Still keeps to fail?

I have sent my log to RED now.


One other question for Mac users. Before I had a red loggo for the red station program up in the upper "task bar" close the clock. There I could mount and unmount ssd from the red station. It have stoped to show up in that position. If I pop in a ssd in the redstation
it just shows up as harddrive but nothing at the upper task bar.

That's the RED Watchdog app. I believe it's part of the Redcine-X Pro installation, and should appear as a separate app in your Applications folder where you can manually start it with a double click. It has an option to start up on Login - maybe yours is deselected.

Thanks Ericyoung, i just typed in watchdog in finder and started it. Did not know the name of the app so I could not look for it. Hope I get some good news from read from the log files.

If you click on the icon, and select Preferences, you can tick the box for "Start RED Watchdog on Login".
