Purple / Magenta Highlights

MTV channel is full of magenta highlights and features such as Jack the Giant Slayer and many others. I don't wanna name them. I see that as a production and post-production fault.

I'll watch Jack the Giant Slayer when that comes out on home video and will let you know. You'd be surprised, though -- I've worked with directors and DP who specifically wanted some very unusual looks. I can think of one director who was in love with warm highlights, and I couldn't break him of the habit. Green or magenta highlights, no. And again, one knob fixes it in about two seconds -- it's trivial​ to do.
