is there a good German web based seller of Chrosziel products that sells internationally. I am needing to purchase a particular focus drive gear for my chroszeil follow focus (201 -25 it has a fat gear on it for still lenses with barrels that move as you focus). Buying one from Australia is just insane - i am told by the supplier here that it could several MONTHS to get it which is typical in Australia for any unusual item! I am hoping that some european based red user can steer me in the right direction. Thanks

Careful - what you are looking for is a reseller who has stock.
Usually, thanks to the broad range, resellers can't have every little part on their shelves, but order either directly in Munich or through distributors.
Sometimes a new item will keep you waiting 2 or3 months....

First, know what you want, then you can find someone who has it on stock.
I would talk to them directly, dpn't rely on webshop status.

Thanks. I will try some of the options listed. My university German which I did so that I could follow my favourite Wagner operas is pretty rusty!

"How good is the follow focus?"

I tried renting many follow focus units out there before purchasing including the Arri ff4 and ff5 - the Chrosziel is excellent. Beautifully engineered, very tight and precise with a dampened feeling when pulling focus. Is is also not as bulky as the Arri units which was a plus for me.
