Purchasing a RED 1 with MX

Hello

I have question, and forgive me if its been discussed before (i was unable to find an answer) Is it possible to buy a RED ONE camera with the mx sensor already in place? If not, how long is the average wait to do so?

It's not possible YET to buy a new RED One with the MX sensor. Red is still in the process of offering upgrades to current owners. Once that has been completed, then they will offer it to new customers. If I had to guess, the wait for this to occur would be later this year, possibly around October/November, but that is a wild guess, and I don't work for RED, so take it for what it's worth. It could be next summer, nobody knows.

No new RED ONE with MX until after everyone with an existing RED ONE has been offered the MX sensor upgrade.

Mark is correct.. except hopefully the upgrades will be complete much sooner than October/November.. we are on a bit of a roll right now slicing through the list

Yes, they are available from third parties, used, recently upgraded. A friend just bought one. They're just not available from Red yet.
