Looking at building a multi-camera array comprised of 36 (!) Komodos. Using the Komodo Link Adaptor, is it possible to implement PTP Sync over the network while ALSO controlling all 36 cameras from RED Control? Or would this introduce protocol/bandwidth conflict?

A rando Best Buy switch isn’t going to do the job. A switch that supports Precision Time Protocol (IEEE 1588v2) like a Cisco 9300 and a PTP master clock should work.

Hi Ben, did you find a solution? I’ve been looking at a nearly identical workflow except using Komodo-X’s which I’ll be testing in the next few weeks using 5GBs adapters and controlling over RED Control. I did get a few tips on how to reduce latency.
