I'm preparing my tower to start editing a new feature. During the shoot, the offload person was syncing audio to the "Q" file in FCP so when the footage is handed over, I won't have to load and sync all the video with the audio.
A sequence was created in FCP at the offload station and footage logged and detailed in FCP. I would attach the hard drives to my computer and open in FCP....
1. Would this even work properly? (I'm hearing this file won't show properly)
2. What is the recommended file type, besides R3D to edit from? (I've read the white paper, but was curious on popular opinion)
