Proxy playback quicktime

[Øystein Iversen]

Hi!

Stupid question:

I try to playback the r3d proxy.mov files, but the playback just shows black.
What am i doing wrong?

I use a mb pro with lion. Downloaded the quicktime (beta) codec from the support page.

Do i need qt pro? Or must i have some other software like redcine x installed?

Thanks

I have lion and can report that something got left out, the best way i have found sense you cant use quicktime is clipfinder...

[Casey Green]

are proxies enabled for epic yet

+1

Still love to see this enabled on EPIC. Any update on it?

Thanks for answers.
Yeah, I am using redcine to view the clips now. Guess an update is needed to get the quicktime to work with it.
