Whats going on here (proxy top, RED alert below)?
blue_crap.jpg

It is only happening on a series of shots where I auto white balanced, and had the shutter at 1/30th (25fps) (ISO 500).

After I downloaded these, I used the same drive and camera but re-white balanced and the proxies from those shots were fine.

If I remove all meta data (default) from the proxies and re-make them they are fine, but if I change the white balance to more blue they seem to go screwy again.

Any ideas/fixes?

Camera: v20.1.3
REDCINE: v2.0
RED Alert: v20.1.6
Quicktime: v7.6.2

Thanks!

I dont have an answer, but I love the look of the bottom shot. Nice.

Have you tried remaking the proxies in red alert?

Call RED at pinewood. They'll be able to look at your pictures and assess whether it is a sensor issue or settings issue.

Doubt it is a sensor issue as the RAW's look fine, and the next series of shots I did after this were fine.

Will do though.

EDIT>>

FIXED!
Completely removed, then re-installed the RED codecs from my system. And now the proxies look right again.
The REDcode Quicktime codec must have not installed properly last time I updated it.
