Proxy/Color workflow

Hi everyone,
I've would show you a workfow for offline edit with proxy and export DPX from color:

1. rough edit with "_M" proxy

2. Make a copy of the project

3. Ingest the native .R3D file with Log and Transfer

4. Change the reel (to match the native files reel) and clear the tcin tcout of the proxy

5. Rename the native file adding the "_M" suffix (with a Automator script)

6. Select the proxy files and, using the command "Reconnect files", select the native files

7. Now your proxy edit is substitute from the native files

7. Send the sequence to Color.

A question: is this workflow useful or I can simply send to color my proxies sequence?

Why in this workflow (http://reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=23606) don't use "Send to color"? Because it's an old workflow, made before the recent upgrade?

why you don't use the command "Send to Xolor" and use an edl?

That was before Nick/Hans got ColorFixer worked out to solve the problem.
