I do not have the new version of FCS yet, but I was wondering if I were to get it, would I be able to export out ProRes 4x4 files from RedCine?

It is my understanding that I could use ProRes 4x4 to create a 4k clip in 12 bits- is that correct?

As of right now Redcine does not allow me to export 4:4:4, but I can when I bring everything in through FCP's Log and Transfer utility. The new Color is also much better, as it now handles 4K and RED natively.

Thanks for the feed back. I've taken a look at those and I know that workflow- but what i want to do is to take advantage of how Red Cine debayers the file, as it does a better job then Color does. But I want to grade in Color, as that does a better job then Red Cine ...

BTW- you cannot select the debayer setting in Color 1.5 - is that correct? (I know I can't in Color 1.0)
