  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

PROMETHEUS - TED viral spot

Regardless of what it was shot on, it's a pretty solid idea/concept for the franchise (leveraging the Weyland industries angle with TED to make it more believeable...) Anyone know when they merged with Yutani or is that just AVP canon?
 
@Mike - Agreed. It certainly looks to be a clever and intelligent piece of sci-fi. That alone is REALLY big in my book :)

I believe that the vehicles in the trailer have the Weyland-Yutani logo on them :)
 
Wow. As a rabid Alien fan, science fiction fan, and Ridley Scott fan, that just gave me goosebumps. And yes, that looks like EPIC footage to me.
 
I just thought I was getting a huge jump with a TED talk from the future.

Figured I could game the market a bit, then maybe it could be Ibrahim-Weyland. Then I'd have sent more Marines in the follow up ... maybe a battle cruiser to back them up with orbital bombardment.

See that's Weyland-Yutani's big mistake.

Overkill isn't profitable, but it is reliable and safe.

Just found out that this viral was directed by Ridley's son, Luke Scott :) It will probably be a standalone piece - but what a piece it is! :)

Am I the only one getting the chills when watching this (over and over actually :D ) ?

They should invite him, really. Or ask Luke to shoot another similar badass video, but with Ted talking about DRAGON. That would be the ultimate commercial for upcoming Red products. RedRay, RedProjector, RedDragon. Boom, boom, boom - right in the face (of competition). :)
