Project round trip with compound clips?

I see that importing an fcpxml into redcine-x works fine, as long as there are zero compound clips. I see a lot of warnings about unrecognized xml elements in redcine-x's "status" tab, so presumably final cut's new compound clip features changed their xml format in a way that redcine-x doesn't yet understand.

What I want to do is see my edit in redcine-x. Is this possible? Will redcine-x be updated to be able to read compound clips in final cut projects? Or is there a workaround? I'd be happy enough having a UI to just see the clips that exist within the compound clip, but importing a project doesn't present any of the clips in a bin or equivalent that I can see.

Is there any word on this? Certainly folks around here cut in FCP-X and grade in CINE-X. How do you do it?

Well you could just leave your clips in the Final Cut Pro Event and use Redcine-X to grade your footage (the clips itself) which you are just changing the Meta data that will translate over to FCPX.
Not sure if this would be optimal for your workflow but give it a try.

That's what I'm doing now, but it's pretty tedious. I grep through the fcpxml files for "r3d" and then create a temporary bin in cinex with those clips. But I often miss a clip, or am not certain where the in and out points are in the cut. Very error prone and time consuming.
