I’ve always loved Canada and have been there a few times. I’m taking my wife up to Vancouver for her Spring Break (she’s a teacher) in March. In light of recent USA events I’m a bit curious about production in Canada, specifically Vancouver since that’s closer to California.
1) I know there’s been a production boom up in Vancouver, but is there a lot of work going around?
2) For someone from the USA, is it tough to secure a work visa? Do I need to find a company to sponsor me?
3) Obviously there more production in Los Angeles, but there's also a huge amount of people competing for work. How does Vancouver compare to LA in terms of production and more importantly, availability of work?
Any info would be appreciated and thank you,
Gene
