Red one has a solution. It's called the Birger Engineering mount. Epic has been waiting for a lot longer than we all thought.

Canon, Nikon, Red, Sony. Everyone is spouting wireless this and that. They all seem to have everything they need at their fingertips but no-one has released a wireless follow focus that works with still glass. You would think Canon could have one out in a heartbeat but instead we all wait. After nab if Red doesn't have one, Jacik gets the money. Think about how nice the bridge financing would be for indies. Get stills glass & follow focus. Then get a motor for zoom. Then get cinema glass. Then get a second motor. A completely functional camera at every incremental stage.

There are already a lot of great pro and sub-pro follow focuses in the market now. It would be bad business to try to compete with them at this point IMHO. They have the Dragon sensor and a whole lot of other things to worry about right now. I am really happy that they did the old kick a big guy in the ass with the Red Pro Lenses, though. Look at all the many lenses and price points that came after that.
