Hi.
Is anyone using the blue Bebob V-Mount batteries on Epic-W and getting the voltage displayed as it should?
I own an Epic-W using it with the cable less Woodencamera V Mount Plate. My old blue Bebob batteries (V140) that I used with my Epic Dragon work fine on the new camera.
I just ordered the new bebobs V150 and V98 for light configuration and have problems using them.
The voltage does not get displayed and if I shut down the camera the fans start going at a very high level, my 7" monitor gets a horizontal line and freezes with "shutting down" still displayed in camera and fans still running.
Anyone had the same issue?
I'm already in contact with bebob and my reseller to find a solution.
I really like their batteries because they are so lightweight and the funny thing is that the older model and my cheap china Vmounts that I use for my LEDs work as they should with the epic-w.
Anyone having similar issues, maybe it´s the woodencamera plate.
It does not matter if I have my base expander attached or not, still the same.
Thanks
Marc

Yes, I already found out that users with the red I/O don't have issues.
It looks like that Is a main difference that might cause the Problem. Bebob Is working on this already-trying to comprehend the issue . Through the woodencamera plate should be a communication with the camera, so you should get Information about remaining battery power with the newer Bebobs. This communication (with the Bebobs) is not provided through the I/O module, that might be the reason why it works.
They now try to figure out why the epic get's stressed. Hopefully I'll get a response soon.

So just as an update:
Bebob was really interested in finding a solution for this issue and did various tests.
They found out that their new/up to date batteries use a different pin for communication with the camera, that´s what causes the problems in combination with the Woodencamera/IDX Plate with Epic-W at the moment.
According to Bebob, they are changing this right now, in about 2-3 Month their batteries will work fine with Epic-W/Woodencamera cable-less backplate (The older ones are working great right now).
You will have remaining running time displayed, not just the voltage. Maybe this changes also when using the V-Mount Expander with the new ones.
They were really helpful and quick to point out the problem and helping me out on a production.
