Is anyone else having major problems in burning a blu-ray disc out of Encore? I'm on my third week with trying and have a stack of about 30-40 failed blu-ray discs. The source file is about 15gb.

Here's what I've tried so far:

Build and burn from Encore CS6, CS5.5, CS4. - Failed (error code 3).
Build Image and burn ISO using NERO - Failed.
Build folder and burn - Failed.
Build and burn with and without menu - failed.
Tried MP4 and Blu ray M2U - Failed.
Tried dynamic links through AE6 - Failed.

I've tried the above on 2 different computers and 2 different types of discs, but used the same external blu-ray burner. I've read every post possible about encore/blu-ray on google.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Jeremy

Hi Jeremy, I have a slim external bluray burner and I find it to be extremely sensitive to bumps during the burn process. I've gotta a few bad burns from just moving it. Other than that, I've not had a problem with Blurays in Encore. Have you tried a different burner?

If it's failing to burn in both Nero and Encore I would suspect it's the media. First thing I'd try.
