Problems Booting

Camera worked perfect until mounted on a swiss jib..

We are shooting in Mexico and stored the cam in an air conditioned room and shooting in high temperatures and humidity, but we have had no prior problems until today..

The power to the crane may not be grounded properly, which may have caused some internal defect in the camera..

The Camera has problems booting. most of the time it just keep on booting, but it managed a couple of times to start up.. we have unplugged everything but the power, tried to feed power through charger, and last of all downgraded with the older build 20 firmware.. -But with no luck...

Anybody had the same problems?

Please help?..

Real name forum... Stop by the Real Names thread in the Recon section and post a request to get your username changed.

Hard to say what's going on, but I would test the power connection on that crane before anything else is plugged into it!

Do a clean install of the 3.6.0 firmware if you can. The camera may need to be repaired. Test or swap out your battery plate / cable if you can. Or try powering the camera from a known good, and properly grounded, power source. Boot with no drive cables and/or media attached and see if it will boot.
