Problem with Cineroid, can't get full size picture??

Hi all!

I just bought the Cineroid EVF4, hdmi- version, and I'm having some problems with it.
I can't get a full size picture on the screen, I only get about half of the image area, and the other half of the EVF's screen is black.
How is this possible?
HDMI is set on 720p, if it's DVI (menus), there's no picture.

I read about someone having problems with the evf but nothing like this.

Any advice? The model number is EVF-4B, I bought it used.
The evf should be in working condition and it works with my Canon 7D.

See if the Cineroid has Underscaling active, the newer ones have that facility.

No underscaling on mine. It seems to be the first version.
I guess it just doesn't work, maybe I'll return it.
