PROBLEM: R3Ds play OK on EPIC, but OFFLINE in Redcine-X

I have random files on the last few cards that play OK in camera, but Redcine-X says they are OFFLINE.
No thumbnail is visible.
The shot can't be dragged from the Browser to the Viewer.
The shots open in Red Player as one-frame of black.
This is via the Redmag reader, or copies.
It's happened over various Redmags, over the course of a couple of days.

Any help appreciated.

I'm about to re-install the camera firmware to see if the problem continues.

update, for those interested...
I re-installed the firmware, and shot another 60 clips.
No problems with the files.
I presume, until I know any better, that something (a cut in power to the camera) may have corrupted the firmware.
If so, it's a first for me. I've had power cuts before, but never with a consequence like this.
If I'm right, it means that the only safe thing to do going forward, especially given that the files look ok played back on camera, is to always have a Redmag with firmware installed standing by, and to always re-install firmware when there's a power cut to camera... which is a big PITA, unfortunately.

I would not bother tying up a SSD but not a bad idea to have a copy of the firmware on your laptop or a USB stick. Have had many power cuts without corrupting firmware but its not hard to believe it has that potential.
