Can anyone out there give me a straight up review pros/cons of the Pro LCD? I'm on the fence towards buying one. Currently own a Nebtek HDS 70. Been looking all over this site and can't seem to find anything. RED's site offers little information except the basics and price of course.

I'm really interested in it's color and contrast accuracy.

Basically, it is gorgeous.

There might be better monitors out there, but not at that price, and certainly not at that weight. Uses little energy. Very light :) Great brightness, and you get an extra button to program to your wishes.

Definitely better than the 5.6" - and I prefer it over the EVF, but there are others who will tell you the exact opposite.

I received it only one week ago, but did some filming both indoors (excellent) and outdoors in full sunshine (totally workable).

The only downside is some bending, but nothing I couldn´t live with, especially at this price point and weight.

If you are planning on using other cameras, I must also add that the RED LCD works only on RED cameras. That is why they are so light-weigth - all the electronics are inside the camera.
