  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

pro i/o module. Only clean feed comes out of evf/lcd port

Should this be the case. Running release build.
 
Yes i have - in the monitor control the only option for the i/o lcd output is 'clean'
 
added 4.0.9 firmware and i am now able to select menu for the i/o lcd port! It didn't seem to work in the release build.

In 3.3.x builds only 3 total monitors could be set to something other than clean. That means if the brain LCD, HDMI, and HDSDI were all set to Overlay or Menu mode you won't be able to set any of the Pro IO outputs to anything but clean.

In 4.0.x the total limit has been increased to 4. This may explain the difference you saw.
 
Different but related question. I am going to be getting a pro i/o module - if you attach a touch LCD to it, can you use it as a touch screen?

Yes.

Just keep in mind you can only have 1 control surface at a time. That is, you cannot independently control the camera with two different touch screens or even one touch screen and the EVF with the side handle. You must chose which surface is the control surface (using the Priority tab of the monitor control dialog).
