Pro I/O can't even power a SmallHD

I don't understand the point of having power and gpio outputs on the Pro I/O when it can't power any accessories. I feel like I just spent 4K on an oversized EVF port. 1.5 amps won't power monitors, microforce, let alone FIZ units. What's the point?

When I purchased there where no specs on the item. We had to pay early to lock in pricing.

I think Action Products power distro solutions look pretty good. The best solution still seams to be a break out box from the p tap port.

Nick, I agree on the Action Products plate. I think that I will wait for the Meizler to be out for a while before I venture down that road.

Thanks for heads up Adrian. Honestly, I jut assumed that it would provide enough power for the typical accessories. Eye opener. I use a PTAP 1:4 adapter and I can run my fiz, teradeck, and monitor off of it. Cost me $80 from AB
