Pro 17

I just downloaded and installed PRO 17 and opened an old rcx file. I'm now trying to export files with looks already applied and I keep getting error messages in the status:

Error reading from app update feed. Error 4
Update check already in progress.

What's the fix? Anyone know?

I was getting that the other day. I could be completely wrong but it may have been because my computer was without an Internet connection at the time. I switched off 'check automatically for updates' in the settings and restarted the program and it stopped happening. Do you have an Internet connection on your machine? Maybe try switching off auto app update checking.

Hi Andrew, thank you for your response. I wound up shutting everything down including the computer and restarting it all back up. Since then it's been fine. I think the new install needed to have a clean restart even though it didn't prompt for one.

FYI, my wifi is still on and it seems to be working fine.

All that message means is that it couldn't read from the automatic updates RSS feed we have. It happens from time to time. Sorry about that!
