While the RED Prime Set is not available any more, what lens set would you recommend to buy?

If you don't have a huge budget, go canon L primes and maybe 2 zooms (Canon 24-70 L II and 70-200 L II).

If you have some more money, Zeiss CP2's are amazing and I love mine.

You can't go wrong with the RPP's, so you could wait as well, though there's no telling how long that will be.

Thanks chris,

the set is for the private production company and the RRP set is the best, they want the consistency in the f-stops.

I think I should go for that. I was looking at UniQoptics', too. Has anyone tried those?

Haven't used them myself, but have had some very mixed response on buildquality from the one I know have them. They've been in service a lot. But that might just be a lemon-set...

Go for CP2.CP2 are full frame,so there have any full frame sensor come out,no worries,if you don't have that much of money, just go for Duclos cine moded ZF or ZE lenses, they are the great, and also they are the full frame lenses .

CP2 being full frame is tempting comparing to the RPPs since they are not. I guess that would be the changes that will be made for the future RPPs. We have the RPPs but my client needs a set. I have to get them something.

Aaron, I will email you.

Thanks Chris for the link!
